Agree, but only partly

Agree that there could be a mis-match between the NotesView.Columns property of the view and the number of entries in the NotesViewEntry.ColumnValues array. Inside the loop, this should work:

x=Ubound(ne.ColumnValues)

But I disagree about the claim that accessing the item values in the document will be faster than reading the ColumnValues. Conventional wisdom for years has been that reading ColumnValues only accesses the summary buffer and is therefore faster than actually opening the note. And NotesViewNavigator has new caching capabilities that should make it even faster than before. (See http://www-10.lotus.com/ldd/ddwiki.nsf/dx/Fast_Retrieval_of_View_Data_Using_the_ViewNavigator_Cache)

However, I'm open-minded. Do you have test results showing that the conventional wisdom is wrong?
